This year, Lidcombe Public School faces new challenges with incoming kindergarten students who have additional needs but no available spots in special education classes. Due to funding shortages, the school cannot access necessary sensory toys. Responding to this urgent need, the Kiwanis Club of Sydney recently delivered a range of sensory products to support these students. This initiative aims to help the children regulate their emotions and enhance their learning experience in a mainstream classroom setting.

The bags were thoughtfully assembled with toiletries, sanitary products, and personalized notes of support before being delivered to Bunnings collection points across Sydney. The club extends heartfelt gratitude to all donors and volunteers for their contributions, which will bring comfort and hope to women in need this Christmas.
