Excess treats were transformed by Rotary Kenthurst into an uplifting evening featuring inspirational Bill Crews. Together with generous sponsors, we supported comfort care at Sydney Children's Hospital and shared love, laughter, and hope for a brighter future.

Enhancing Learning with Sensory Toys at Lidcombe Public School

This year, Lidcombe Public School faces new challenges with incoming kindergarten students who have additional needs but no available spots in special education classes. Due to funding shortages, the school cannot access necessary sensory toys. Responding to this urgent need, the Kiwanis Club of Sydney recently delivered a range of sensory products to support these students. This initiative aims to help the children regulate their emotions and enhance their learning experience in a mainstream classroom setting.

BGS Fun Day and Formal: A Celebration of Achievement and Community

Kiwanis Sydney celebrated the completion of Year 12 for four graduates at the BGS Formal Night on December 13th, attended by students, families, and community members. The annual BGS Fun Day on December 17th featured a new partnership with Bloomberg staff, who helped serve 125 sausage sandwiches amidst various fun activities for the children. Both events were highly successful, fostering community spirit and joy.

Walking Tall with HeartKids at Two Feet and a Heartbeat

The "Two Feet and a Heartbeat" event, held on October 13th in Western Sydney, honoring both the children affected by congenital heart disease and those who have passed away. The Kiwanis Club of Sydney contributed by providing barbeque meals and refreshments for the participants, fostering a spirit of community and support among families.
