A Heartfelt Initiative
A huge congratulations to all Kiwanis Sydney members who participated in this meaningful project! With the guiding hand of Cathy, who organized a comprehensive shopping list, our dedicated members went out to shop for various necessities. The bags included essential items such as deodorants, toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, sanitary products, shampoo, conditioner, and soap, alongside thoughtful special items, including jewelry.
Adding a personal touch to each bag, Sinchana and Anvita wrote heartfelt notes to convey warmth and encouragement, enhancing the sentiment behind the gifts. Thank you to both for your wonderful contributions!
A Successful Packing Night
On November 12th, during our meeting, we gathered a fantastic team of seventeen members and volunteer helpers to pack the bags with love and care. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and camaraderie, making the task feel like a joyous occasion rather than just another meeting. We extend our gratitude to Kavita and her daughter from “Share the Dignity,” who ensured that all items were appropriate and in good order.
At the end of the night, eleven generous volunteers took multiple bags each and delivered them to their local Bunnings locations, extending the reach of our project from Morisset to Dural, Balgowlah, Pymble, and Carlingford.

This heartwarming initiative exemplifies the impact our members can have in the community, and we are excited to continue this project next year. There is no doubt that these bags will bring a bright spot to many ladies in need on Christmas Day, spreading not just essentials but also joy and dignity.
